Houston Area Company Collects Aerial ‘Drone’ Data Over Threatened Levee

Spring, TX – Unmanned Ad-Hoc Industries, Inc. (UAI) – a global data collection company recently dispatched a five-man Mobile Command Team (MCT) for Intelligent Data Collection (IDC) analysis of the Lewis Creek Reservoir levee. The levee, owned by Entergy Texas and under repair due to the recent heavy rains, was surveyed and mapped to give the company a better understanding of the repairs needed. Using sophisticated unmanned aerial vehicles ‘drones’, UAI was able to fly over the site, analyze the information on its advanced 16 core workstation, aka. ‘Super-computer’, and provide an accurate 3D map and orthomosaic survey.

While performing data collection missions on the levee system, UAI was interviewed by The Weather Channel’s Dave Malkoff.
